Big Easy Go is a student-managed effort to complete a cross-country "parade" celebrating the rebirth of New Orleans. After weathering a storm that took a painful toll, New Orleans has emerged as a city with a renewed spirit and determination. Our mission is to inform people that New Orleans is a fun, youthful place to live, and an exciting, wild, and historical place to visit. We came, we saw, we accomplished in '07. Our unlikely convoy departed Los Angeles on May 20, 2007, led by our founder Gregory Thurner in his "Golf Car," a revamped golf cart with a sixteen horsepower gas motor.
